March 2002 - ICT Expo a great success for Kilross Network Protection Ltd.

Kilross Network Protection Ltd was officially launched at the 2002 ICT Expo get together of the biggest names in the Irish IT and Telecommunications industry.

ICT Expo took place in the RDS in Simmonscourt between March 9th to 11th. XP Energy Systems UK & Ireland Sales Manager Mark Sadler flew over for the three days to help promote their new MSX Online range of UPS.

Displayed on the stand were the MSX Online range of UPS from 700VA to 6000VA. Also displayed was the XP network adapter, which enables the UPS to connect directly to a node on the network. Using this connection the UPS can be managed across the LAN using SNMP software or UPSilon from XP. UPSilson is the UPS management software which is included with every XP UPS.

Kilross also had the InstaGate EX2 Firewall/VPN from eSoft on display. Visitors were impressed to hear that the InstaGate EX2 was not only a Firewall and VPN but that it also included a standard email, print, file and web server as part of the standard product.

"The show was such a success and we had so many interesting visitors to our stand that we will be immediately reserving our place for next year" said Tim Manning, director of Kilross Network Protection Ltd.

Kilross Network Protection Ltd has already reserved its place at ICT Expo 2003.
